Barre

Our barre-inspired classes combine ballet-inspired exercises with elements of Pilates, yoga, and strength training to provide a low-impact, high-intensity workout. Barre uses a combination of small, controlled movements, isometric holds, and high-repetition exercises to sculpt the core, arms, legs, and glutes. Small hand weights and other simple props may be used. Class is conducted in bare feet or grippy socks – no sneakers. Please bring a mat to class, all other equipment will be provided. No dance experience is required – just bring your energy and get ready to have fun and feel the burn!

Deep Stretch Yoga For The Spine

Deep Stretch Yoga for the Spine focuses on the central channel of our yoga practice, the spine. This class is designed to help release tension, alleviate stiffness, and connect to the vital energy within the spine and energy points along the spine. You will experience a series of exercises and stretches that aim to decompress your back, heighten your postural and breath awareness, and improve your spinal and overall body mobility.

Flow Yoga

Flow yoga (sometimes called Vinyasa yoga) is a dynamic practice that connects breath with movement. In Flow classes, you will practice a series of poses that are linked together in a choreographed way so that you can transition from one to the next in a fluid, continuous flow. The focus is on building strength, flexibility, and balance while maintaining mindful awareness of your breath. Each session offers a mix of gentle and challenging postures, as well as seated and standing postures.

Gentle Yoga

Our Gentle Yoga class is designed to make yoga accessible and approachable without sacrificing fitness benefits. This class moves at a “gentle” pace – even slower than our Slow Flow classes. Gentle Yoga offers an opportunity to practice a sequence of poses at lower intensity—minimizing transitions and push-ups, and without frequent changes in position. You will be able to mindfully strengthen and stretch, improve mobility, and deepen your mind-body connection with simple breathing and mindfulness exercises. This is a great class choice if you are looking to explore your mobility, to build strength and flexibility in a gradual, less intense way, or if you are getting back into your yoga practice.

Pilates

Pilates is a low-impact exercise method that focuses on strengthening the core, improving flexibility, and enhancing overall body awareness. Our mat Pilates-inspired classes often incorporate equipment like hand weights, resistance bands, and Pilates balls to enhance your workout. Each controlled movement is designed to engage and stabilize your muscles, targeting deep core muscles while promoting better posture and alignment. Our Pilates express classes will provide you with a quick, effective, and energizing whole-body workout in 45 minutes!

Restorative Yoga

Restorative Yoga is a very gentle style of yoga that focuses on deep relaxation. Class consists of only a few floor poses. Many props are used to achieve maximum comfort in each pose – including blankets, blocks, bolsters, and eye pillows. Each pose is held for several minutes to encourage the body and mind to fully unwind. This calming, slow practice helps reduce stress, soothe the nervous system, and promote physical and emotional balance.

Slow Flow Yoga

The Slow Flow Yoga classes are similar to the Flow Yoga classes, but more time may be spent in each pose and in the transitions between poses. This is a great class choice if you enjoy the flowing feel but find other classes to fast for your breathing or if you want to take more time transitioning between poses. Sometimes moving slower makes postures more challenging! Please review our Class Levels descriptions to make the best class choice for you.

Yin Yoga

Yin yoga is a slow-paced style of yoga that complements more active or “yang” styles of practicing yoga or exercising. Yin yoga offers opportunities to create space in the body and mind in meditative ways. The class consists of grounded or “floor” poses that are held for an average duration of 1-5 minutes each. One of the purposes of holding postures in this passive, prolonged way is to help improve our range of motion through slowly remodeling fascia (connective tissue), which requires a different exercise approach than muscle does. Yin yoga may also help stimulate bone activity through the use of gentle compression at joints when holding poses. Prop use is highly encouraged. Simple breathing and mindfulness exercises are offered to help promote relaxation. All levels are welcome!

Yoga Conditioning

The Yoga Conditioning classes offer a unique blend of traditional yoga and strength training by incorporating light weights into the practice. This class focuses on building strength, endurance, and flexibility through a series of yoga poses combined with weighted exercises. By adding dynamic strength training, you’ll challenge your muscles in new ways, improving tone and definition, overall agility and stamina, while still promoting relaxation and mindfulness. Join us an discover newfound confidence and strength in your yoga practice!

Yoga Nidra Meditation

Meditation is a practice that involves training the mind to achieve a state of deep focus, awareness, and inner peace. It can take many forms, but at its core, meditation helps individuals cultivate mental clarity, emotional stability, and an enhanced sense of well-being and inner connection. Yoga nidra is a guided meditation practice which translates to “yogic sleep.” Yoga nidra is practiced lying down in a comfortable position while the instructor verbally guides you through various steps, including: intention setting, a body scan, breath awareness, visualization, and inner witnessing. This meditation style is commonly used for improving sleep, reducing anxiety, and enhancing relaxation and overall well-being.
